CLASS APART: Fans predict another win for Mick McCarthy

Cardiff City and Huddersfield Town kick off the weekends Championship action when Mick McCarthy takes his side to West Yorkshire on Friday.

The Bluebirds still remain undefeated since the arrival of Mick McCarthy and soared up the table since his arrival at the end of January.

As for Huddersfield, Carlos Corberán’s side have struggled since the turn of the year and find themselves caught up in a relegation battle.

With the sides at opposite ends of the form table, many are expecting an easy win for the visitors.

The stats also put the game heavily in Cardiff’s favour as the Bluebirds have won three of their last four league visits to Huddersfield.

McCarthy's Milestone

Friday’s match will be a 1000th career game as a manager for Mick McCarthy.

Speaking to Wales Online, McCarthy praised his side’s consistency:

"Everybody wants to play, things are good and long may that continue. But we've won nowt yet, that's for sure.

"There's no point getting carried away, head in the clouds, everybody gives you a pat on the back and suddenly there's a knife in their hand.

"I don't get carried away by that stuff. Nothing nastily, just the way it is.

"Not a chance in this world I'll be getting carried away. There are a lot of good teams in this league. We'll just keep pecking away."
