Calls for more powers over broadcasting to be devolved to Wales have been unanimously backed by a cross-party Senedd inquiry. The Culture, Welsh Language and Communications Committee's report says Wales should have more say on how broadcasting is funded and regulated. The report saw 10 recommendations to improve media in Wales.
Tributes have been paid to a Cardiff GP who trained hundreds of young doctors after she died suddenly on the weekend. Dr Cecilia Thomas, known as Celia, was the longest serving partner of a surgery that has practices in St Mellons and Roath. From all of us at Local TV, our thoughts are with her family.
