NEWS ROUNDUP: Massive queues on Cardiff’s Queen Street as non-essential rules ease
The Welsh Government have cast serious doubt on being able to travel abroad in 2021. A new Coronavirus Control document includes details on plans for re-opening venues including gyms and outdoor attractions as well as further plans on unlocking but warns that “international travel continues to pose a risk”.
Shoppers queued outside Marks and Spencer stores in Cardiff on Monday after the high street chain launched a sale on clothing. Supermarkets that were already open across Wales are now allowed to sell non-essential items as restrictions start to be lifted. Meanwhile, the Welsh Government are still waiting to open all stores at a later date.
