NEWS ROUNDUP: Coronavirus deaths continue to fall in Wales
The number of deaths involving Covid-19 has fallen for the ninth week in a row in Wales. According to the Office of National Statistics, there were 49 deaths involving the virus, accounting for 7.9% of all deaths. This comes as at the time of documenting, there have been no further Covid deaths reported over a 24 hour period.
People in Wales are being urged to attend vaccine appointments after hundreds failed to show up for their jabs. In the Swansea Bay area almost 500 people did not attend on Monday. Also, at a mass vaccination centre in Bangor, in Gwynedd, almost 200 people failed to show up over a three-day period. The Welsh Government have said that they are investigating.
People headed out into the sunshine on Tuesday as record breaking temperatures were recorded in Wales. Temperatures matched that of Ibiza - rising to the mid 20s. From all of us at Local TV, have a great time in the sun!
