WONDERFUL WEDNESDAY: Owls win battle of the birds
Cardiff City ended a bad Easter weekend with another defeat as they lost 5-0 against relegation threatened Sheffield Wednesday.
The Owls got off to the perfect start when Julian Borner headed in Barry Bannan’s corner after just three minutes.
Wednesday were 3-0 up inside the next 20 minutes as Callum Paterson fired home a wonderful second against his old club before Adam Reach curled home a free-kick.
The Bluebirds’ hopes of a comeback were ended when Jordan Rhodes swept home a fourth on 65 minutes before Reach got his second from close range.

The result leaves Cardiff eight points outside of the play-off places and leaves them with a mountain to climb with just six games remaining.
"It was a humbling experience, that's for sure,” Mick McCarthy told BBC Sport Wales.
"They were considerably better than us... It was the worst performance since I have been here and I would imagine it was the best Sheffield Wednesday performance all season.
"We've had to be full tilt at all time, the players have given me everything since I've been here.
"It wasn't so much a disappointing performance against (Nottingham) Forest, just a poor result. It was both tonight. Sheffield Wednesday were just very, very good, I thought."
