NEWS ROUNDUP: Moderna vaccine arrives in Wales
A third Covid-19 vaccine will be rolled out across Wales from Wednesday with patients in Carmarthenshire becoming the first in the UK to receive it. The Moderna vaccine was approved as safe and effective for use in the UK in January this year. Supplies arrived in Wales on Tuesday, with 5,000 doses sent to Hywel Dda University Health Board vaccination centres. It has not yet been confirmed when the rest of the UK will start using it.
Political Party Plaid Cymru have said that they would hold an independence referendum within five years if it came to power in May's Senedd election. Adam Price, the party’s leader has said that his party would deliver a referendum within the next Senedd term if it was in government after 6th May.
A team searching for a fishing boat that went missing with three men on board has found a "sunken vessel of significant interest". Ross Ballantine, Alan Minard and Carl McGrath had been on the Nicola Faith which failed to return to Conwy's port in January. The bodies of all three were found last month.
