St David's shopping centre has revealed "exciting ideas" for Cardiff's Debenhams. The huge space will soon be emptied and a huge flagship Zara store will take its place. The closure of Debenhams has been described as a devastating blow to Welsh city centres where the department store had been one of the major draws bringing in shoppers.
The Welsh Government have confirmed that people living with adults with weakened immune systems are to be offered a Covid vaccine. Adults with a compromised immune system are less likely to be able to fight infections. The decision has been made because evidence is growing that vaccinated people are less likely to pass the virus on to others.
The Woodland Trust has revealed that Wales' woods are facing "catastrophic consequences" that could spell "disaster" for plants and animals. The Trust have said that a lack of urgency to plant and protect trees was putting the future of green spaces at risk. Meanwhile, at this current time, due to the Senedd election, the Welsh Government have been unable to comment.
