NEWS ROUNDUP: Private members club pays tribute to Prince Philip
The Welsh Government have confirmed that anyone who cannot work from home will be able to get free rapid Covid home testing kits. The lateral flow tests will be available to be picked up from local Covid-19 test sites from Friday 16th April. Officials said they were also looking at making other locations available to collect self-test kits, as well as posting them out to individual homes. The Welsh Government have described the new venture as “a step forward” in the fight against the virus.
A tanker has crashed into a river in west Wales, spilling milk and turning the water white. The lorry left the A482 in Carmarthenshire and crashed into the River Dulais. Natural Resources Wales have said that an "unknown quantity" of milk had leaked from the tanker, which caused "significant discolouration".
And a private members club in Wales has paid tribute to Prince Philip, the Duke of Edinburgh. The duke became patron of Cardiff and County Club aged 32, following in the footsteps of his father-in-law George VI, and Edward VIII before him. Prince Philip passed away on Friday 9th April.
