LAST GASP: Yakou Meite denies Cardiff all three points
Cardiff City were denied all three points against promotion chasing Reading thanks to a stoppage time equaliser from Yakou Meite.
The Bluebirds looked to have stolen the game for themselves five minutes from time when Kieffer Moore slotted home from the penalty spot.
However, the home side then made a triple substitution and the introduction of Sam Baldock proved to be crucial.
Baldock’s fine cross four minutes in to added time was met in the middle by the head of Meite and the goal drew the Royals level.
Meite Gets Reading Off The Hook
City boss Mick McCarthy was brutal in his assessment of the game post-match: "I'm raging," he told BBC Radio Wales Sport.
"I said on Saturday that Blackburn, with their performance, they deserved it, but I'm not bothered about people deserving it, we shouldn't let them off the hook and we did.
"We have done it today. We've been terrific, we've blocked stuff, defended, caught them on the break, we could have scored a couple more in the second half.
"We just let our guard down - again. And I'm raging."
