NEWS ROUNDUP: A&E services to be offered at home in Wales
Indoor organised activities for up to 15 adults such as exercise classes and swimming will be allowed to resume two weeks earlier than expected in Wales. The news comes as part of the Welsh Government's three-weekly review of lockdown restrictions. The Welsh Government has now confirmed that further relaxations will be brought forward from May 17 to May 3.
As part of a new service, patients who would typically be seen in A&E could now be treated in their own homes or at the scene of an emergency. The new physician response unit, created between Cardiff and Vale University Health Board and the Welsh Ambulance Service, aims to cut down on "unnecessary" hospital admissions and free up ambulances for the sickest patients.
And Welsh singing legend Sir Tom Jones has announced he will performing at an outdoor concert in Wales this summer. Sir Tom was due to play more than dozen venues in 2020, but they were cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic.
