NEWS ROUNDUP: Pubs set to reopen indoors in May
Welsh pubs and restaurants will be able to reopen indoors in May. Pubs and restaurants have been unable to open indoors since the Welsh government stopped it in December because of rising Covid numbers. But now, First Minister Mark Drakeford has said: "It is my assessment that the hospitality sector - bars, pubs, restaurants and cafes - will be able to open indoors from May 17” He reiterated that the decision would be confirmed following the next three week review.
A third man has been charged with murder after a 23-year-old man died after being found in a Cardiff street. Tomasz Waga, from Poland but living in Essex, was found unconscious by a dogwalker in Westville Road, Penylan, on 28 January.
And - Bluestone Lodge is set to expand with a new £15m investment. This comes as in 2020, hospitality sales fell by an incredible £17.5m as a direct result of the pandemic.
