NEWS ROUNDUP: Emily Nicole Roberts unveiled as Cerebra Ambassador
One of Cardiff’s TV most special guests has joined UK Charity, Cerebra- The charity, that supports children with brain conditions, has teamed up with YouTube sensation, Emily Nicole Roberts to help raise awareness for people with a disability. 22 year old, Emily from South Wales was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy when she was three years old and despite only having her own YouTube channel for a year, she has made a huge impression. Since then, the star has risen to fame through platforms such as BBC Sesh and her nomination at the National Diversity Awards.
It has been revealed that 97% of people across England & Wales responded to the recent Census. This is above the pre-census target of 94 per cent, while all local authorities have seen over 90 per cent of households respond, exceeding an 80 per cent target.
And - An open-air cinema and street food event is coming to Newport this summer. The Welsh Government has announced that cinemas, theatres and museums as well as indoor hospitality will be able to reopen on May 17th, subject to the public health situation remaining the same as well as this week's Senedd elections.
