RETURN OF THE GYM: Max’s Fitness Video Diary
After five months, gyms in Wales are finally back open!
The decision to close the venues in December brought a lot of scrutiny to the Welsh Government’s doorstep with many people claiming that they are safe.
Gyms, leisure centres and swimming pools in Wales reopened on Monday as COVID-19 restrictions are slowly easing.
Organised children's indoor activities and indoor adult fitness classes can also resume and two households can form an exclusive bubble to meet indoors.
The current plan is for indoor hospitality and tourism accommodation to reopen from 17 May but this will need to be confirmed by whoever forms the next government.
Upon his return, gym-goer Max Williams said: “It was busy as usual! Everyone seemed to get back into their routines quite quickly.”
Max recorded his experience of returning to the now *COVID safe* gym in the form of a video diary!
